Boundaries Magazine
Editorial Design / Typography / Photo Editing
This 40-page magazine examines the effects of gentrification in New York on food availability and culture. My design uses encroaching rectangular color overlays over text and black-and-white photos to echo the cultural conflicts that arise from rampant gentrification. The intersection between the color overlays, text, and images intensifies as the magazine progresses, culminating in entire spreads covered in color overlays.
